You think you know

It is funny how life works. You think you know what's coming and then you are reminded God's plans are unknown and will prevail. Who knows what the next has in store for you. When the pastor wanted to talk to me little did I know I would be receiving a scholarship to do missions in Africa. Who knows what I will learn on that journey. 

God's will is not always so obvious keep that in mind. 

Open yourself up to God's plan for you. Know he has plans for you to prosper not to harm you. 

Live simply on the path of Christ and The Lord will make his work obvious in your life. 

A child's laugh

There is something about a child's laugh that moves my soul beyond how words can describe. Children are my passion because of the passion they have about life. Children have not seen all the bad in the world that adults have. When a child laughs and you can see the pure joy in their face my soul is renewed. There is joy among the darkness.

The Cross shows us new life and forgiveness is possible, if we believe.

A peace that surpasses all

Today I took a long cruise. With some good music ( soja, tribal seeds...). While I was crusing and breathing in the salty ocean air I was once agian reminded of how big my God is. Just yesterday stress and worry filled my mind and prayer journal pages. Feeling the wind and smiling at complete strangers made me realize " don't worry about a thing, cause every little thing is gonna be alright". Beauty is all around me and I am going to miss it if worry and stress win this battle. I love cruises on my board it calms my mind and connects me back to what really matters, living a full and happy life. 

Go for a ride, see what it can do for ya! 

He is constantly at work.

Never doubt. Never have a heavy head. Keep your head up and know each day is a piece of the Lord's masterpiece. 

Audrey

Audrey has always been one of my favorite role models. Aside from her timeless fashion her endurance is what caught my eye. I have actually read books and articles about her and the complications she faced. She always held her head high and went about life. When I come face to face with a situation I picture Audrey taking a deep breath and walking on . She inspires me to keep moving. 

Do you.

Oh baby it's a wild world. Remeber there is a lot of bad out there. Do what makes you feel good. When you are doing the right thing you know. There is a deep joy and satisfaction that seems to keep you moving on that path. Don't worry about what others say about your path. If they don't know what that deep joy and satisfication feels like they can't understand your path . 

Thankful for my flaws

Getting over the idea that your life will be a storybook easy life is crucial. Understanding that you have grown from each " non perfection " . My life today is great and it would not be without the lessons I learned. 

My cornerstone

With out God it would be hard for me to see the good and purpose of my past. The daily moments of thanks and gratitude  for the simple things in my life come only because of the joy and peace The Lord supplies. 

Sunbeams

It has been so nice outside lately. You know that feeling that you get when you are surrounded by warmth and sunshine. The days where windows are open make you happy. What if just being around a person could make you feel that way. 

The only thing you can control is your emotions. Make everyday a warm and sunny day in your own way. Remeber you can't control the situation;only the reaction. Be the person who is a ray of sunshine. Be positive.
